JAKARTA - Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) in early January announced an impressive sales score in 2024 where annual sales reached 109,843 units, an increase of 25.8 percent, this is the best brand sales performance since 2019.

Now, there is good news for Outlander lovers, Mitsubishi will soon officially present a 2025 model with a touch of refresh which makes it look more attractive and promises a better driving experience. Although the mechanical base is still the same as Nissan Rogue, Mitsubishi is giving some significant improvements to pay attention to.

Launching Car and Driver, February 11, visual changes are the main attraction of Outlander 2025. Revised front Grills, slightly different front and rear lights, as well as new wheels design provide a more modern and fresh look. These small touches succeeded in making Outlander look more charming.

Entering the cabin, will find a revised center console layout with additional storage space, new holder cup placements, and wider space for wireless charging. Not only that, the Yamaha audio system is now standard in all variants, promising better sound quality. Although the specific details of the Yamaha audio system at each trim level have not been announced, we can expect an audio experience that spoils the ears.

The 2.5 liter inline-four 181-hp engine and CVT automatic transmission did not change, but Mitsubishi claimed to have re-calibrated the steering, spring, anti-roll bar, and shock damping. In addition, the addition of sound damping is claimed to be able to create a quieter interior. Of course, everyone is curious about how this change will affect the driving experience.

For prices and other details, Mitsubishi will provide further information on February 24 at launch but launching the Mitsubishi page, the base price for the front-wheel drive ES variant is USD 31,140 (equivalent to IDR 510 million), up USD 1065 from the previous year's model.
