JAKARTA - A single brand holder (ATPM) agent from Mazda in Indonesia, PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI) officially launched its newest SUV called the all-new Mazda CX-80 for the Indonesian market.

The car will be positioned over the CX-60 carrying a three-line style filled with six seats thus offering a dimension more relieved than the other Mazda SUVs.

PT EMI's Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ricky Thio said that 10 units of CX-80 had been ordered before the car was launched today and now its units are available in Indonesia.

"For the unit itself, it's ready and ordered 10 units," said Ricky after the launch event in Simprug, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 22.

However, for customers who have not received their turn to order, Ricky added that the CX-80 must spend up to two months waiting because the product is a complete import (CBU) from Japan.

"We'll be indent for about 1-2 months from the Japanese factory," added Ricky.

The interesting thing about this car is that it comes in the choice of a powertrain plug-in hybrid (PHEV) that prioritizes flexibility between gasoline engines and pure electric driving.

All-new Mazda CX-80 which is sold in Indonesia is equipped with a 2.5 liter engine powered by 327 ps and a 500 Nm torque that combines 17.8 kWh of batteries so that the all-new CX-80 can run up to 60 km in pure electric driving.

All-new CX-80 is offered in the Elite and airshed variants, the same as the CX-60 sold in Indonesia. Speaking of prices, EMI officially sells the all-new CX-80 at a price of IDR 1.199 billion On The Road DKI Jakarta.
