Chevrolet Officially Sells The Most Powerful Corvette ZR1 Starting From IDR 2.8 Billion, Here Are The Specifications

JAKARTA - The automotive manufacturer from the United States (US), Chevrolet officially announced the price of the highest variant in the Corvette family, namely the Corvette ZR1. This car is called the fastest and most powerful model in the history of the series.

Launching from the official brand website, Saturday, January 11, Corvette ZR1 2025 began to be priced at US $ 174,995 or equivalent to Rp. 2,855 billion for type 1LZ Coupe and US $ 184,995 or around Rp. 3.018 billion for 1LZ convertible hardtops.

Meanwhile, the brand under the auspices of General Motors (GM) also provides 3LZ coup variants at a price of 185,995 US dollars (Rp3,034 billion) and 3LZ convertibles worth 195,995 US dollars (Rp3,198 billion).

Thus, the car is cheaper than its rivals such as the Porsche 911 GT3 RS which is pegged at US$241,300 (Rp3,937 billion) with a lower power of only 518 cellphones.

ZR1 is an example of design and engineering excellence, where we push for boundaries in terms of performance," said Chevrolet Global Vice President Scott Bell.

The supercar from the country of uncle Sam has several equipment such as carbon fiber roofs, carbon ceramic brakes, Performance Data Recorder, and Carbon fiber ground effect and side-intake.

This car is offered with Carbon Fiber Aero Package at an additional cost of US$8,495 (Rp138.6 million) to replace a more aggressive aerodynamic package, high downforce backwing, pattern hood spoiler, and much more.

Then, Chevrolet also offered a ZTK Performance Package at a price of 1,500 US dollars (Rp 24.4 million) to provide performance like on racing tracks.

The latest Chevrolet Covette ZR1 has a 5.5 liter V8 twin-turbocharged configured engine with a wild force of 1,064 hp at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 1,122 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

The manufacturer claims that the latest Corvette ZR1 has acceleration from 0 to 97 km/hour in just 2.3 seconds and can run as far as a quarter mile in just 9.6 seconds. Thus, the top speed achieved by this model is up to 375 km/hour.

Chevrolet began opening bookings for this model in February with production starting in the second quarter of this year through Bowling Green Assembly, Kentucky, USA.
