JAKARTA - Citroen plans to update the generation of C4 models since 2020. It is also stated that this French manufacturer will use the base of the Oli Concept as a new language for the crossover.

Reported by French media L'Argus, which was confiscated by Carscoops, Wednesday, November 20, the Oli Concept is included in the candidate as the next generation C4 with a box shape and more detail, making it look stand out than its competitors.

The report states that this model is estimated to be more similar to the concept version in terms of size and proportion. Then, the news said that Citroen would include about 70 percent of the design and features of the concept into its production version.

It is likely that the latest C4 will have a more aerodynamic windshield with more landau roof lines and fastback-style tails. Other changes can include a bumper redesign, smaller wheels, and a more conventional lighting unit.

More information about the latest C4 is that this car will use Smart Car architecture, which also supports other Citroen models such as C3 and C3 Aircross.

Thus, it allows brands to offer options between the powertrain EV and ICE options, continuing with current examples of models that use the CMP/e-CMP platform. It will also generate competitive prices, potentially making it one of the cheapest offerings in the segment.
