The Successor Of Ferrari Roma Is Being Tested Again At Maranello, This Is In Its Form

JAKARTA - It is rumored that one of the Ferrari Roma sports models will soon be injected dead, following the termination of SF90 Stradale and 812 GTS. This news is reinforced by a manufacturer secretly conducting road tests on one of the cars suspected of being his successor.

Reporting from Carscoops, Friday, November 15, this prototype car was seen passing by on the streets around the Maranello area, Italy or near the headquarters of the manufacturer with the horsekangkrak' logo.

Using a black camouflage robe, it remains a question mark of whether the model will change or retain the design of its predecessor. However, it would not be surprising if Ferrari actually designed the facelift version of Rome.

Covered by disguises, it is possible that this car has the same silhouette but has updates to the fascia, bumper, and lighting units.

In addition to the possible exterior, the interior is expected to get a refresh even though the inside is still not caught on camera. It is possible that the cabin will follow the design of the latest 12 Cilindri or F80.

It is still unclear whether these changes will occur on the performance side. As an illustration, Ferrari Roma currently has a turbocharged 4.0 liter V8 engine connected to an eight-acceleration dual-clutch transmission system.

Thus, this car has 612 dk of power and 760 Nm of torque which produces acceleration from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3.4 seconds and can obtain the highest speed of up to 320 km/hour.

Ferrari also has steps to get to electrification by introducing vehicle lines such as SF90 Stradale and F80 which have a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system. There is a possibility that the facelift version or Roma's successor will have this system in the future.

In addition, the manufacturer founded by Enzo Ferrari will present more hybrid models followed by its first EV launch scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of 2025.

This electric-powered sports car will be assembled on e-building, Maranello, which will be unveiled this year. By the end of the decade, the company founded by Enzo Ferrari is targeting EV cars to contribute as much as 40 percent, 40 percent of the hybrid, and 20 percent of the other is ICE cars in annual sales.

Despite this, the manufacturer is still trying to save internal combustion engines from extinction by adopting synthetic fuel for the high-end segment.
