Rolls-Royce Releases Special Edition Phantom Celebrating 60 Years Of Goldfinger Film Release

JAKARTA - Rolls-Royce again presents a special edition on one of its models, Phantom. Not only Special, the presence of this car in commemoration of 60 years since the release of one of the James Bond series, Goldfinger.

Rolls-Royce Cars Chief Executive Chris Brownridge said the presence of Phantom Goldfinger is proof of his party's commitment and expertise in presenting a number of masterpieces that have high value and can exceed the expectations of his clients.

"This special project really encourages our creative team, giving them the freedom to explore their imagination range," Brownridge said on the official BMW Group website, Monday, October 28.

This special Phantom car has the same yellow color as Auric Goldfinger's car in this film, namely the 1937 Phantom III Sedanca de Ville.

Inspired by the iconic car, the Phantom who has been painted yellow is given a roof and a black hood. In fact, the appearance of the rim and wheel cover mimics the old car. In addition, the grip section has an ordinary chromo layer but the statue of Spirit of Ecstasy is covered in 18 carat gold.

The interior is no less luxurious than the outside. There is an 18-carat gold rod that turns on like the Phantom speedform which is placed in the secret compartment of the console.

Limousin has other elements of luxury such as gold plates near the door and gold golf clubs in the trunk inspired by the James Bond film. Then, there is the VIN plate which ends with the number 007 made of 24-carat gold.

Then, the cabin is also equipped with a fictional map of Fort86 on a picnic table with 22 carat gold mats and there are star light headers that accompany the position of the stars like the one in the film.

The British manufacturer did not want to disclose the price of this special edition of the Phantom, but they said the car had been delivered to one of the collectors in the UK.
