First Impression Of Short Hyundai All-New Santa Fe: Hybrid Premium Comfort

Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) inaugurated the launch of the all-new Santa Fe as well as starting their steps to explore the hybrid car market in the country market.

Different from the previous generation, the SUV has a bolder and more radical design in a more brainy form. Carrying the spirit of the 'Live BIG', the car comes with a large dimension.

The fifth generation of Santa Fe has dimensions with a length of 4,830 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, a height of 1,795 mm, and a wheelbase of up to 2,814 mm, thus offering a spacious and comfortable space in its class.

With some of the things offered, of course, it is a question of how the impression of driving from the all-new Santa Fe.

Complete And Advanced Features

The cabin part of this car is equipped with two screens that are interconnected, consisting of a cluster instrument and infotainment which has a size of 12.3 inches each.

Just like other Hyundai models, manufacturers maintain physical key elements in the middle that make it easier for drivers to operate several personalization systems in the cabin, such as air conditioning, ventilation, driving mode, and much more.

The highlight is the Surround View Monitor (SVM) which shows the conditions around the vehicle in order to avoid unwanted collisions. The Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) feature is also provided so that you can see the condition of the driver's blind spot when it is about to turn or change lanes.

Smoothly Driving Premium SUV

When this SUV shifts its transmission to D by stepping on the gas pedal a little bit, the all-new Santa Fe is able to run smoothly and quietly. Due to running at low speed, this car is driven by electric driving first.

When we encounter an area free of obstacles, we try to step on the gas pedal and the sound of a 1.6 liter engine is immediately heard when it hits a speed of 30-40 km/hour. The acceleration offered is also responsive but still comfortable to drive.

Conclusion

After being poor across the electric vehicle (EV) market in the country for years, Hyundai did gambling by jumping into the national hybrid market for the first time by launching the all-new Santa Fe.

Although this is the first time this has presented a hybrid in Indonesia, Hyundai has included the model not only because it is environmentally friendly. But also, the SUV has a spacious room and impressive performance.

Offered in four variants of the two types of powertrain, the all-new Santa Fe is priced from IDR 699 million to IDR 869.6 million.
