Hyundai introduced Inster globally last June which will fill the affordable electric city car segment. After its launch, the car is rumored to have received approval for sale in Australia.

Regarding the distance, Inster has a 42 kWh battery at the base type and 49 kWh in the Long Range type. Thus, this model offers a distance of up to 355 km according to the WLTP in the Long Range type with an energy consumption of 15.3 kWh/100 km.

This compact model has the ability to charge with a DC fast-charger of 120 kW from 10 to 80 percent in 30 minutes. Hyundai Inster is also compatible with onboard AC 11 kW charging.

Inster has been introduced in South Korea, followed by other markets such as Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) also opens the opportunity to bring Inster to the Indonesian market. However, it has not been able to provide certainty of the time for the presence of this model.
