Jetour Launches Family PHEV Car At A Price Of IDR 300 Million, Here's What It Can Be

JAKARTA - One of China's automotive brands, Jetour announced Shanhai L7's latest model with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system for the choice of family cars in the bamboo curtain country.

Reporting from CarNewsChina, Tuesday, October 1, the SUV is positioned above L6 and below L9 which is present in four trims in contrast to the price range between 129,800 to 159,800 yuan (equivalent to Rp280.8 million to Rp345.7 million).

The exterior design is inspired by the philosophy of'symbiosis of mountains and seas' which according to the manufacturer name 'Shanhai' is interpreted in Chinese, namely mountains and oceans.

The light carries a seeping type consisting of 118 lamp beads. The outside is equipped with a roof trunk rack, an electric back door, and an outer rear mirror or folding as a standard feature.

Jetour Shanhai L7 also has a wide dimension with a length of 4,749 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, a height of 1,720 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,745 mm by offering 5-seater configurations of up to 7-seaters in it.

The interior has a screen that combines full LCD instrument panels and a center control screen with a size of 12.3 inches each. The center console has two play buttons to control various configurations, a 50W phone wireless charging panel, and two cup holders.

The 5-SEAter configuration has a layout with 2+3 and 7-SEATER formats with 2+3+2. The manufacturer claims there are 33 storage spaces throughout its interior.

Then, the second row of seats can be arranged from 25 degrees to 41 degrees and can be folded so as to produce a baggage room of up to 1,688 liters. Thus, this can accommodate 24 suitcases measuring 20 inches.

A number of advanced features were also presented in this SUV consisting of intelligence voice assistants, remote control via mobile phone, Huawei HiCar system, Sony speakers, and advanced driving assistance level 2.

Treating Jetour Shanhai L7 is a 154 dk TGDI ACTECO 1.5 engine and 220 Nm torque combined with a 267 dk electric motor and 395 Nm torque. This system is combined with two DHT accelerations with a 60 liter tank capacity.

Because it carries the PHEV system, this car has a 19.43 kWh battery capable of providing a pure electric range of up to 120 km and a total distance of 1,300 km.

The battery can also charge from 30-80 percent in 18 minutes with fast charging and 3 hours with a normal charging device. The SUV also has a VtoL feature that can turn the car into an electric source for several devices such as rice cooker, hair-dryer, and other electronic equipment.

Jetour offers this car in six different colors, namely black, gray, green, blue, silver, and white.
