Jeep Says 2025 Gladiator Is Not Equipped With Manual Transmission

JAKARTA - Jeep Gladiator has received a refresher for 2025 in the United States (US) market. However, there is unpleasant news for manual transmission enthusiasts.

The brand spokesman said that the six-speed conventional lever was officially removed for all trims and provided only eight automatic acceleration options for this large pickup.

Jeep Gladiator 2025 will exclusively feature an automated transmission of eight high-tech speeds to maximize the recall and payload capabilities of the best V6 engines in its class requested by our customers," a Jeep spokesperson said.

This model update for 2025 is provided with a power window and a door lock as a standard at all trim levels.

The latest thing for the 2025 Gladiator is to present two exterior colors, namely Fathom Blue and 41 option. The 41 option is a green color inspired by an olive-colored military vehicle.

For the 2025 model, Jeep Gladiator comes with six different variants ranging from Sport, NightHawk, Sport S, and Willys. Meanwhile, the two highest variants of Mojave and Rubicon are also offered in Uncle Sam's country.

The Jeep mainstay pickup is now offered at prices ranging from 39,995 US dollars or equivalent to Rp. 603.7 million to a maximum of up to 52,995 US dollars or around Rp. 800 million.

Despite manual transmission removed from the Gladiator family, Jeep still offers it to Wrangler 2025 specifically for the V6 Pentastar machine self-developed by the brand.

The iconic 'Jeep Wrangler mainstay will continue to offer manual transmission as part of its more than 80-year legacy allocated to customers who value manual girbox engagement,' a spokesperson added.

Jeep includes a 3.6 liter V6 Pentastar machine option for paired Wrangler exclusively with a manual transmission of six accelerations. Thus, this gives power reaching 285 dk and torque 352 Nm.
