Chery Tiggo 8 Has Ordered Hundreds Of Units, Delivery Starting October

JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) recently introduced the latest model from the Tiggo series, namely Tiggo 8, and the ordering model that plays in the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment has already begun.

PT CSI Head of Marketing Mohamad Ilham Pratama, revealed that currently the order for the model introduced at the GIIAS 2024 event has reached 150 units of Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK), and is in the administrative process.

" 150 units have been ordered and again the administrative process, both cash and leasing," he said, when met in the PIK 2 area, some time ago.

Furthermore, the man who is familiarly called Ilham said that from the 150 SPK figures, it is expected to be retail sales, meaning that there will be no cancellations from potential consumers.

"From us, that's okay, the hope is that everything will be retail sales so we can deliver directly," he added.

The delivery of the model, said Ilham, will begin in October. The price issue has not yet been officially announced by Chery and will be carried out in the near future.

"From the beginning, GIIAS has 100 SPKs, and so far 150 SPKs have been announced. The price will be announced in the near future and in October delivery," said Ilham.

As is known, Chery Tiggo 8 offers a fairly good driving experience. The VOI team also had the opportunity to try out this one model, and was relatively comfortable both in terms of handling, noise, and an adult suspension.

Equipped with a 1,600 TGDI engine, this one model offers a maximum performance of 186 PS and a 290 Nm torque. The power is also very instant and very fun to drive.
