BYD Han 2025 Officially Launches: Latest Refreshment At More Affordable Prices

JAKARTA A well-known automotive manufacturer from China, BYD, has again shown its innovation by launching the latest Han 2025 sedan. Interestingly, apart from appearing with various refreshments, the price of this new model is also more affordable than its predecessor.

Reporting from CNevpost, Tuesday, September 10, BYD Han 2025 comes in two main variants: Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), just like the previous generation.

Since its first launch in 2020, this sedan has gone through a variety of major updates. Most recently, in February, BYD launched a version of Han Glory Edition, which has proven successful in the market with sales reaching 800 thousand units to date.

BYD Han 2025 comes with a length dimension of 4,995 mm, a width of 1,910 mm, a height of 1,495 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. In the PHEV variant, there are five trims that carry the latest 2.50 BYD DM hybrid technology, powered by a 1.5Ti engine. This machine is capable of producing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 6.9 seconds, with pure electric coverage reaching 125 km according to CLTC standards.

The highest trim of the PHEV variant is equipped with advanced technologies such as LiDAR and the Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) system which provides a semi-automatic driving experience. Prices for this PHEV variant start from 165,800 yuan (around Rp. 389 million), cheaper than Han Glory Edition which is priced at 169,800 yuan (around Rp. 367 million).

BEV Variant And Electricity Range

Meanwhile, the pure electricity version (BEV) BYD Han 2025 is equipped with a front electric motor with a peak power of 150 kW and a peak torque of 310 Nm, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour within 7.9 seconds. The highest variant also gets LiDAR to increase autonomous driving skills.

The BEV variant offers ranges ranging from 506 km to the lowest trim, up to 701 km for the highest trim, making it an attractive choice for consumers looking for electric vehicles with a wide range.
