Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Officially Launches, Offers Sophisticated Features And Luxury Views

JAKARTA Hyundai Motor India officially launched a facelift version of its flagship SUV, Hyundai Alcazar, at prices ranging from 1,499,000 rupees (around Rp275 million) for gasoline variants and 1,599,000 rupees (around Rp294 million) for diesel variants. This latest model comes with a fresher look and a variety of superior features for the local market.

Reporting from Rushlane's website, Tuesday, September 10, India's Hyundai had previously opened pre-order at a cost of 25,000 rupees (around IDR 4.5 million), showing consumer enthusiasm for this Alcazar facelift. This SUV carries Hyundai's global design philosophy, Sensous Sportiness, which is clearly seen in significant changes in its exterior.

The facelift Alcazar comes with a more dynamic and modern design. The "H" LED DRL light on the front gives a futuristic impression, while the front grip has been updated and is now equipped with a more striking 3D design Hyundai logo.

On the side, changes can be seen in the new design of the roof rail and two-color wheels that add to the sporty impression. The back also does not escape the touch of refreshment, with vertical backlights and modern LED lights, as well as the placement of number plates in new, more elegant niches.

Entering the cabin, the Hyundai Alcazar facelift offers a luxurious feel with the Noble Brown and Haze Navy color scheme. The entertainment features are no less interesting, with a large 10.25-inch screen that functions as a full digital instrument cluster and a modern infotainment system. Drivers and passengers are spoiled with dual zone climate control, individual AC ventilation, premium Bose sound system, as well as panoramic sunscreen that presents a wide impression.

Not only that, the Alcazar facelift is also equipped with a dual dashboard camera and air cleaning with air quality indicators (AQI). The seating configuration is available in a choice of 6 or 7 seats, with an electrically tunable driver seat with a memory function. Access to the third row is also designed more easily for passenger comfort.

In the safety sector, the new Hyundai Alcazar carries advanced Advance Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Level 2, with 19 features included in it. The car is also equipped with 6 air bags, front and rear parking sensors, and ahill start assist. Some additional features may only be available in the highest variant, but this car safety standard remains impressive with 40 built-in safety features.

Hyundai Alcazar facelift maintains a choice of engines powered. The gasoline variant is equipped with a 1.5L turbo GDi engine that produces 160 hp and 253 Nm torque, with a choice of 6-acceleration manual transmission or 7-acceleration DCT automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the diesel variant relies on a 1.5L CRDi engine with 116 hp and 250 Nm torque power, combined with a manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
