JAKARTA - A Chinese brand, DFSK, will soon enter the Philippine automotive market with three models at once, one of which is Candy Mini EV or Seres E1 if in Indonesia.

Quoting from the Autoindustryya page, Monday, September 9, later this mini EV will compete with Jetour Ice Cream in the local market, and Candy Mini EV will be priced at competitive prices at 658,000 pesos or around Rp180 million.

In Candy Mini EV design, it looks very unique, especially supported by a combination of colors. In terms of dimensions, 3030mm long, 1495mm wide, 1640mm high, and 1960mm wheelbase. it also has a ground clearance of 135mm, the same as the version in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, it is also equipped with several soft touch materials that bring comfort in itself, and is also equipped with two separate screens, and also several physical buttons on the steering wheel area that make it easier for users to control vehicles.

Candy Mini EV is offered in only one variant, namely with a 16.8 kWh battery which offers a maximum range of 220 km on a single charge, and is supported by a 30 kW electric motor and can charge from zero to 100 percent in four and a half hours.

The second model in this line is DFSK E5 PHEV, a seven-seater SUV powered by a 130 kW motorcycle and with a maximum range of 1,150 km. This range, we assume, includes the full utilization of a hybrid battery and a 1.5 liter gasoline engine. Available in two variants, with Deluxe's base sticker for 1.580 million pesos or the range of IDR 432 million, and Ultimate's highest variant is at 1.88 million pesos or IDR 514 million.

Complementing its ranks, another model that will be present is DFSK EC75, an electric commercial logistics van that promises a maximum range of 310 km. It can be refilled from zero to full in 45 minutes with a DC charger and in 10.5 hours with an AC charger. It is only available in one trim sticker for 1.45 million pesos or around Rp397 million.
