This Thai Conversion Company Turns Hilux Rangga Into A Running House

Toyota officially markets Hilux Rangga at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

The car, which was previously named 'Rangga Concept', is also marketed in several parts of Southeast Asia, one of which is the Philippines with the names Tamaraw and Thailand carrying the Hilux Champ label. This car also has other skills, which can be modified as needed.

Launching from Top Gear Philippines, Wednesday, September 4, the model was converted into a running house by providing various household appliances.

With a strong cabin and chassis base, Carryboy managed to turn this pickup into a comfortable and functional residence.

Behind, the car is given a box measuring about five meters long, two meters wide, and three meters high to comply with laws in the Thai country regarding this type of vehicle.

The exterior display is also updated with enlarged outer rear-view mirrors, a roof that displays sky view, and an electric tent system. In addition, the pickup also has a number of equipment such as houses in general.

There is a pop-out window that allows the wind to enter the cabin area to cool the cabin room, while there are stairs that can take some people up to the roof or deck.

Inside, a sliding cooking utensil and a sink are also installed to wash kitchen utensils and utensils. This car is also equipped with a propane tank plus a tank of 120 liters as a supply of clean water.

This car is modified to be more functional which can function as a living room or dining room behind. After that, this vehicle can also be converted into a bed or sofa.

The interior motif will depend on the customer's preferences. There are two color options, two lightwood tones or two darkwood tones. In this running house, there are piles of cabinets and storage rooms in the residence. Meanwhile, the bathroom is included in the package with the shower added by the heater.
