BYD Seal 06 GT Officially Listed In China, Here's The Price Market

JAKARTA - BYD added to its electric car lineup in China by launching the Seal 06 GT model at the 2024 Chengdu car exhibition, and will be available from mid to late September.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, previously in April the Seal 06 GT was introduced but is still a concept, and now the production version is officially here to enliven the environmentally friendly vehicle market.

Although it officially launched this one model and has started accepting orders, BYD did not elaborate in more detail on what variants will be present in the Seal 06 GT model. However, this brand from China offers a price range of 150,000 yuan to 200,000 yuan or the range of IDR 328-437 million.

In specifications, BYD Seal 06 GT built on the BYD 3.0 Evo e-platform looks very prominent thanks to its sleek, aesthetically full design and overall looks sporty. For dimensions, it has a length of 4630 mm, a width of 1880 mm, and a height of 1490 mm, with a wheelbase of 2820 mm.

Entering the cabin, Seal 06 GT offers a modern impression thanks to a touch of white and blue colors, let alone a 15.6-inch central screen, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel. There is also wireless charging that makes users not have to worry about running out of smartphone battery power.

This one car offers a single and double motorcycle configuration. For the single-motor version, it provides two different electric motor choices with a maximum power of 160 kW or 330 Nm, while for the double-motor version it covers the front electric motor 110 kW and back 200 kW.

This vehicle has a choice of 59.52 kWh and 72.96 kWh batteries that offer a distance ranging from 505 km to 605 km in CLTC counts.

The presence of BYD Seal 06 GT has made manufacturers more confident in filling all segments of electric vehicles in China, and this model places itself between the Dolphin model and the Seal sedan.
