After Debut In Indonesia, BYD M6 Is Ready To Paving In India

JAKARTA - The electric car market in India is slowly starting to show significant growth. Many automotive manufacturers are now competing to introduce their latest model, including BYD, which released M6, an electric car that has made its global debut in Indonesia.

According to a report from local media, Rushlane, the launch of the model has been confirmed, although the official name of the vehicle has not been disclosed. However, based on the teaser circulating, it is likely that the vehicle is BYD M6.

This electric car is thought to be an MPV electricity (M6) segment that will replace the E6 version that has long been circulating in India. In fact, BYD is rumored to be withdrawing all ranks of E6 from the Indian market.

If this speculation is true, then the BYD M6 intended for this family will be the same as the model that was launched in Indonesia last July.

In Indonesia, BYD M6 comes in three variants, namely Standard at a price of Rp379 million, M6 Super Captain Rp419 million, and M6 Superior Rp429 million. This car is also available in four color choices: Crystal White, Ink Stone Blue, Cosmos Black, and Harbor Gray.

The VOI team had the opportunity to try this car on their way from Jakarta to Bandung and returned to Jakarta, with a total distance of about 339 km.

During the trip, this car gives a satisfying driving sensation with responsive energy. Comfortable suspension is also able to reduce shocks when passing uneven roads.

BYD M6 is also equipped with qualified safety features, such as an ABS braking system with EBD, an electronic stability control system (ESC), and 6 airbags, all designed to ensure the safety and comfort of the family while driving.

YD M6 uses BYD's flagship battery, the Blade Battery. Blade Battery technology, which is safer and more efficient in charging, allows BYD M6 MPEV to cover a distance of up to 530 km in one charge.
