Toyota Camry 2025 Chooses Singapore For First Debut In Southeast Asia, The Price Touches Like This

JAKARTA - Toyota officially launched its newest Camry or ninth generation in Singapore, marking its first debut in Southeast Asia after starting its global debut last November.

Quoting from the Paultan page, Friday, August 30, Toyota Camry in Singapore comes in one variant, namely Elegance which is embedded with a hybrid engine and priced at 246,888 Singapore dollars or around Rp. 2.9 billion.

In its latest form, this one car comes with a length of 4,920 mm, a width of 1,840 mm, a height of 1,455 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,825 mm. Compared to the previous generation Camry, this latest model is 35 mm longer, but overall it retains its dimensions.

In more detail, the ninth generation Camry is equipped with a four-cylindrical gasoline engine with an A25A-FXS of 2.5 liters naturally-assired which produces 188 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 221 Nm of torque from 3,200 to 5,200 rpm.

The power is coupled with a 1VM electric motor that produces 136 PS and 208 Nm torque so that the total system output becomes 231 PS, and is also embedded with a front wheel driving system using electronic CVT and lithium-ion batteries, with the highest speed set at 180 km/hour.

Standard equipment for Camry Singapore specifications includes all-LED headlights, powered front seats, 12.3-inch digital instrument clusters, panoramic sunsets to three driving modes including Eco, Normal and Sport which adds to the special impression of using this one car.

In addition, there is also a 12.3-inch infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and a wired Android Auto, with audio playback done through a nine- speaker JBL sound system.

Regarding the safety system, Camry comes with eight airbags and a number of active safety systems including emergency braking with parking support, adaptive cruise control, lane tracing assist, lane departure, blind spot monitor, 360-degree camera and many more.

Nine colors are offered in Singapore, namely Platinum White Pearl Mica, Silver Metallic, Precious Metal, Attitude Black Mica, Emotional Red 3, Previous Bronze and Dark Blue Mica, while the interior is available on three themes, such as Fromage, Black and Yellow Brown.
