Launching In Indonesia Last July, MG Cyberster Is Now Introduced In Malaysia

JAKARTA - After officially launching last July in Indonesia, now the electric roadster from MG, the Cyberster, is officially introduced in Malaysia.

Quoting from the Paultan page, Friday, August 23, SAIC Motor Malaysia did not provide more details about the complete specifications including prices, but it was confirmed that the product would be launched in the third quarter of this year (2024).

In MG Cyberster design, it defines an electric roadster that has a sporty appearance, let alone supported by a length of 4,535 mm, a width of 1,913 mm, a height of 1,329 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. The sharp light display and firm curvature confirm the dashing and sporty impression of this car.

Actually, the MG Cyberster itself comes in several variants, starting from rear-wheel drive which produces 340 PS power and 475 Nm torque, making this one electric car can go from 0-100 km/hour in just 5 seconds, with a maximum speed of 195 km/hour.

In addition, there is also an all-wheel drive model that has 544 PS power and 725 Nm torque, even capable of accelerating 0-100 km/hour in just 3.2 seconds, with the highest speed increasing to 201 km/hour.

The electric car, which has a sporty look, is also equipped with a 77 kWh battery that provides a range of 509 km on the RWD model, and 44 km on AWD. Also, it has supported fast charging of up to 144 kW capable of rechargeing 10-80 percent of the battery in just 38 minutes.

As stated above that this car is already present in Indonesia, which is priced at IDR 1.6 billion. MG Indonesia itself presents attractive offers by providing a lifetime battery guarantee for the first 100 units.

Meanwhile, MG Cyberster has also launched in Thailand where it comes in one variant and is priced at 2,499,000 baht or around Rp1.1 billion.
