JAKARTA One of Ferrari's most iconic and historic, Ferrari 625 TRC Spider by Scaglietti 1957, is ready to be auctioned off in the Monterey Car Week 2024 event.

RM Sotheby's as the organizer of the auction gave an estimated value of between 9-11 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp144.2 billion-Rp176.3 billion.

Known as one of the most beautiful car body designs ever, this Ferrari 625 TRC Spider has an extraordinary racing history. This car was originally owned and used in competition by John von Neumann, an important Ferrari distributor and figure in California.

With a powerful 3-liter V12 Colombo engine, this car is capable of reaching high speed and extraordinary performance on the race track. In addition, this car is also equipped with manual transmission that provides an authentic driving experience.

Amazingly, this car was able to finish in the top three in 21 racing competitions, including 10 wins from 40 race periods.

Launching the RM Sotheby's page, August 8, it is said that the history of ownership of this car is well documented, including the period of 30 years of maintenance by a owner. Documents such as period photos, letters, and articles from Cavallino magazine also complement the history of this car.
