VW ID.7 High Performance Officially Sold In England, This Is The Price

JAKARTA - Volkswagen (VW) introduced a high-performance electric vehicle (EV) ID.7 GTX in early June globally. Now, this sporty-style car is officially sold for the British market.

Quoted from Autocar, Wednesday, July 31, the manufacturer opened the booking period at a price of 61,980 pounds (around Rp1.29 billion).

A special thing for this model is that there is a small GTX badge at the bottom of every glass door, roof, and black pillar. Then, the front lighting carries an IQ.Light LED matrix technology.

In addition, the ID.7 GTX has a bottom goal that is large and a 20-inch rim as standard and 21-inch for optional.

Moving to the interior, there is a sport-style chair coated with plain cloth and an Eco microfleece Art Velours, a steering wheel with red stitches as standard, as well as cabin lighting with 30 colors that have become standard.

Then, there is a 15-inch touch screen and a head-up display that has become standard on the ID.7 GTX model. Other standard equipment includes wireless App-Connect for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, augmented reality, IDA voice assistant assisted with ChatGPT, two-zone automatic AC, and keyless system.

The German manufacturer also offers an optional function in the form of Park Assist Pro, which allows users to control parking procedures using their smartphones.

Talking about its performance, VW ID.7 GTX has a double electric motor driven all wheels (AWD) capable of generating 335 dk. According to the manufacturer, this sedan can run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 5.4 seconds.

Of course, this power is lower than the VW IDX Performance concept which has a peak power of 550 dk of a double electric motor, which is an extraordinary performance for electric vehicles.

However, this car has an 86 kWh battery that can cover a distance of up to 595 km according to the WLTP and is compatible with charging 200 kW of DC Fast Charging, so it can charge from 10 to 80 percent in 26 minutes.

In addition to the sedan version, VW also sells the ID.7 GTX Tourer in the form of a wagon for the British market at prices ranging from 62,670 pounds (equivalent to Rp1.3 billion).
