JAKARTA - Smart, a joint venture brand from Mercedes-Benz and Geely, is officially listed on the Australian market by introducing the #1 and #3 models. Both will enliven the electric vehicle (EV) market in rural countries.

Launching from Drive, Wednesday, July 17, Smart #1 and #1 will be offered three variants each, namely Pro+, Premium, and Brabus.

Both are also equipped with a battery with a capacity of 66 kWh. For Smart #1, this compact car is capable of reaching 420 km and Smart #3 with a longer dimension of 435 km by WLTP.

Then, the Brabus comes with the high performance of a single electric motor capable of pumping up to 315 kW of power and 543 Nm of torque in these two models. Smart #1 can run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3.9 seconds while #3 can go 3.7 seconds.

Assisted by a 66 kWh all-wheel drive and battery capacity, both are capable of running up to a range of 400 km (#1) and 415 km (#3) based on WLTP calculations.

Different from other variants, the Brabus version is equipped with a red accent that adorns the exterior, including the caliber brakes. Then, it also has a sporty accent and is aggressive with red stitches that adorn the entire interior.
