Smart #3 Officially Launches In Malaysia, Prices Start From IDR 600 Million

JAKARTA - Smart #3 officially launched in Malaysia which will join Smart #1, as the latest electric vehicle presented by the brand.

Quoting from the Paultan page, Thursday, July 11, the car, which will enliven the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment, comes in three variants, starting from Pro which is priced at 175.000 ringgit or around Rp. 603 million, Premium 215.000 ringgit (Rp.741 million) and Brabus' highest touched 25.000 ringgit (Rp. 879 million).

Just like Smart #1, for Smart #3 it uses the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, which also supports electric vehicles under Geely umbrellas such as Zeekr X and Volvo EX30.

In dimensions, Smart #3 has a fairly relieved dimension with a length of 4,400 mm, a width of 1,844 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,785 mm.

Meanwhile, the Pro and Premium variants have electric motors installed behind which produce 272 PS (200 kW) and 343 Nm torque, capable of accelerating 0-100 km/hour in 5.8 seconds, with the highest speed reaching 180 km/hour.

As for the Brabus variant, it comes with the front motorbike making it All Wheel Drive (AWD), which produces 428 PS (315 kW) and 543 Nm power, for acceleration of 0-100 km/hour only 3.7 seconds.

For the basic variant or Pro, a 49 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery will be embedded, which gets a range of 325 km WLTP count, while for Premium mapun Brabus gets an NMC 66 kW battery which provides the claimed range of 455 km for Premium and up to 415 km for Double-engined Brabuses.

Later this brand will also be present at the GIIAS 2024 event which will take place on 18-28 July.
