Mercedes Launches EQB Facelift In India, Take A Peek At Specifications And Prices

JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz announced the launch of the facelift EQB model for the Indian market. The refresh in this SUV includes more modern styles, the latest features, and additional five-seat configurations.

Reporting from Autocar India, Tuesday, July 9, EQB facelift underwent a design change with the addition of a new black panel featuring the typical Mercedes star pattern as the standard feature on the front, as well as a rear LED light that had been changed.

The changes also include interiors with a star pattern display on the dashboard and a door trim like the one on the EQS, a 10.25-inch mid-touch screen equipped with the latest MBUX infotainment system, and voice control in this car has been updated compared to previous models.

The touch control panel has also been added to the steering wheel, and users have options for two voice experiences, namely the sound generated by the computer with the Burmester surround sound system.

In addition, Mercedes-Benz also offers the Dolby Atmos surround sound system option, which provides an in-depth audio experience that allows users to listen to music as if they were in a recording studio.

The premium car manufacturer has also equipped the EQB with the latest features, including an updated mono-multiguna camera and a Driving Assistance package, including Active Lane Keeping Assist through the Electronic Stability Program (ESP).

Different from the pre-facelifts offered only in seven-seater configurations, now Mercedes-Benz offers an EQB with a five-seat layout for this market.

This German manufacturer provides two EQB variants, such as 250+ and 3504 Matic. The initial variant is equipped with a 70.5 kWh battery which provides a range of 447 km in one charge and the top offers the same battery with a range of 535 km.

Speaking of performance, EQB 250+ is equipped with a single electric motor that pumps 190 dk of power and 385 Nm of torque and 350 4 Matic with a double electric motor producing 292 dk of power and 520 Nm of torque.

Competing with BMW iX1, Mercedes-Benz EQB is priced at 7.09 million rupees (IDR 1.38 billion) and will be delivered starting in early 2025. This model has also arrived in Indonesia at a price of IDR 1.655 billion Off The Road.
