Ahead Of Debut At The Goodwood Festival Of Speed, MG Reveals The Latest Generation HS

JAKARTA - MG will officially debut the second generation HS model on 11 July, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Wednesday, July 3, ahead of its debut, the latest generation MG HS caught on camera being tested even without camouflage.

It can be seen from the appearance of the front design similar to the second generation MG 3, including the front grip for air entry channels to provide an aggressive appearance. Meanwhile, on the side of MG HS still uses a traditional door handle.

Entering the cabin, this latest generation MG HS offers the modern impression that a long screen can be seen decorating this cabin. However, it is still pinned with traditional buttons and three-stop steering.

Although the details are not yet known, especially the dimensions are most likely similar to the Roewe RX5 developed with SAIC from China, because MG is also still at the same auspices. This means that it can be bigger than the first generation, with a length of 4,700 mm, a width of 1,890 mm and a height of 1,664 mm.

The heart problem is estimated to use the same 1.5 T gasoline engine as the one embedded in the RX5. The machine produces 188 hp and a maximum torque of 300 Nm.

Talking about MG is not new in Indonesia, and the HS model is also present in the country which is priced from Rp460 million for the lowest variant, while the highest touched Rp550 million. Will this second generation also greet the Indonesian market? Of course it is worth waiting.
