HPM Reports Sales In May 2024 More Than 7,000 Units, WR-V Model Approaches HR-V

JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) reported its sales during May 2024 with a total book of 7,805 units in retail. With this achievement, the manufacturer is still ranked third in most car sales in Indonesia.

Sales & Marketing and Aftersales Director of PT HPM Yusak Billy, said that this achievement was achieved in the midst of an unstable automotive market situation due to several things, such as the global and national political economy. However, he hopes that the positive trend will continue in the second half of this year.

"We hope that various activities such as motorbike shows that will be carried out in the second semester can maintain a positive sales trend, supported by various sales programs that we have prepared to facilitate purchases and provide more value to consumers," Billy said in a statement received on Saturday, June 15.

In the last month period, the Brio model became the best-selling sales with 4,236 units, accounting for 54 percent of Honda's total car sales in the country. In addition, sales of the LCGC model also increased by 23 percent compared to April 2024.

Following Brio, there is an HR-V model that obtained sales of 1,248 units or experienced an increase of up to 15 percent. Complementing the top three, WR-V also managed to sell as many as 1,012 units or experienced an increase of up to 31 percent.

In addition, the BR-V model obtained sales of 791 units, up 16 percent, and the top five positions equipped with the CR-V model managed to sell 224 units, up 13 percent.
