Mercedes-AMG Releases 100 Units Of Luxury Special Edition SL 63 Golden Coast Manufacturing

JAKARTA - Mercedes-AMG has just released a stunning special edition of SL 63 which was perfected by Manufacturing, the manufacturer's internal division.

Through the X @MercedesBenzUSA social media page, it is said that this edition is only produced by 100 units. The Golden Coast Manufacturing SL 63 edition was immediately recognized thanks to the exclusive paint Kalahari Gold Magno, which dominated the exterior to its interior.

In addition to striking paint, Mercedes-AMG has installed 21-inch tempa rims with a design of 10 twin radii. With finishing▁lahane black, this rim is paired beautifully with paint and a black caliber brake with white AMG writing. Meanwhile, the wheels and rim hubs have the same color as the interior.

In its release, the special edition of SL 63 also receives several packages as standard including the AMG Night Package Exterior, AMG Night Package Exterior II, and AMG Aerodynamic Package. This package basically removes all trim chromes and replaces them with high-glus black exterior details, visible in front splitters, rearview mirrors, windshields, as well as side sill insertions and rearskirts.

Other elements have also been blackened. The prominent three-star logo, trim panel grip, and even the emblem 'SL 63' and 'AMG' have been given a classy black chrome coating. There is a diffuser panel, along with additional dynamics located on the bodywork, such as wheel arch, front air entry channel, and side air exit channel. All of these elements are given a finish of black gloss, making the Gold Magno Kalahari paint even more striking.

Luxury Interior With A Special Touch

The special touch does not stop there. Entering a luxurious cabin, you will find an AMG Performance seat covered in black Nappa skin with gold stitches and qualifying diamonds. The seat cooler and multi-contour function increased comfort and made the Golden Coast SL the ideal long-distance touring vehicle.

The AMG Performance steering wheel wrapped in Nappa's skin also received gold stitches, as did the luxurious AMG-branded floormat. The middle console and door card feature the Kalahari Gold trim inlay. It can also be found on the back of the front seat. Finally, the "Manufacturing Golden Coast" edition emblem reminds motorists that they are not riding an ordinary SL 63.

The Golden Coast edition is based on SL 63 4MATIC+ with no performance improvement with a V8 4.0 liter twin-turbo engine that produces 577 dk of power and 800 Nm of torque and 0-100 km/hour acceleration capability in 3.5 seconds.

Mercedes has not announced the price per unit, but reported by Carbuss, June 13, standard SL 63 4MATIC + has a fairly high price of 187,000 US dollars (equivalent to IDR 3.08 billion).
