Landing In Malaysia, The Third Generation Of Porsche Panamera Is Sold For Nearly IDR 5 Billion

JAKARTA - The latest generation Porsche Panamera made its global debut in November last year. Now, this premium sedan-style car has landed in the Southeast Asia region, precisely in Malaysia.

Launching from Paultan, Friday, June 7, this third generation of Panamera began to be sold in neighboring countries for 1.3 million ringgit (IDR 4.4 billion). This German manufacturer only presents one variant for the country's market.

This latest model offers LED Matrix headlights as a standard feature. The redesigned windows on the side display further strengthen the sedan character on the four-door sports car. Offering maximum relief, Panamera has a length dimension of 5,052 mm, a width of 1,937 mm, and a height of 1,423 mm.

In addition, the Malaysian specification model gets 20 inches of rim as a standard with 275/35R21 tires up front and 325/30R21 behind. The braking system is equipped with a 360 mm disk per six pistons up front and a 330 mm disk per four pistons.

The new pandemic has arrived with an air suspension from the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as a standard equipment. Two-valve technology separates the rebound and compression stages from the damping control and therefore offers a wider range between comfort and the impression of sporty.

The interior is decorated with a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster screen, which is combined with a 12.3-inch center touch screen. There is also a passenger touch screen of 10.9 inches, which is coated with a special film so as not to disturb the driver.

For the Malaysian market, this latest Panamera gets a leather seat with a smooth finishing and is specifically offered with a combination of Dark Knight Blue and Chalk Beige colors.

Unlike the European market which received a 4.0 liter V8 powertrain, Panamera for the Malaysian market will offer a 2.9 liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine that can pump 353 ps of power and 500 Nm of torque.

Combined with an automatic dual-clutch transmission system, this car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds with the highest speed of 272 km/hour.
