Hyundai KONA Electric Recently Can Be Ordered, There Are 4 Variants

JAKARTA - PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) officially started pre-booking services for the all-new KONA Electric which is available at competitive prices at IDR 500 million and for those interested on the official Hyundai Motors Indonesia website.

President Director of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia Woojune Cha, said that the All-new KONA Electric is the first electric car in Indonesia to use a local production battery. He believes that this latest model will further strengthen Hyundai's position as a pioneer and EV leader in Indonesia, which continues to encourage the acceleration of electrification in the country.

"This includes offering a complete EV solution to answer the mobility needs of the people's future as well as the completeness of the Indonesian electric car ecosystem," he said, in his official statement, Tuesday, June 4.

On the same occasion, Chief Operating Officer of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, said that since its appearance at the beginning of this year, all-new KONA Electric has received an extraordinary welcome from the Indonesian people.

"This car comes with a futuristic design powered by an all-electric range (AER) that reaches more than 600 km, the sophistication of Hyundai Bluelink's leading connectivity technology, and other advanced features," said Soerjopranoto.

As is known, KONA Electric's All-new first appeared in Indonesia last February at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024. Since then, Hyundai has seen a very positive response from the public to the EV.

In terms of appearance, the All-new KONA Electric carries futuristic and stylish designs that prioritize clean and aerodynamic profiles. Pixelated Seamless Horizon Lamp that stretches at the front and back creates an iconic view of the all-new KONA Electric. Then, twin headlamps with Full LED projector lights integrated in the front bumper and Seamless Horizon Lamp on the engine hood create eye-catching light highlights.

Wheel anchored in a body color that blends with the headlights and back gives a strong and dynamic impression. A firm diagonal parametric surface as well as a modding chrome satin that extends to the beltline adds an elegant impression on this car. Not to forget, Active Air Flap integration in the front bumper is designed in such a way as to increase energy efficiency and provide the cooling the vehicle components need.

Hyundai also complements all-new KONA Electric with various technological innovations. All-new KONA Electric has supported the leading connectivity feature of Hyundai Bluelink which provides more convenience for users in enjoying their daily mobility experience. Users can also get the latest software version on this EV more practically through the over-the-air (OTA) update system. All-new KONA Electric is also equipped with Hyundai SmartSense which further guarantees a safe and comfortable driving experience for users.

All-new KONA Electric will be present in Indonesia in 4 variants, namely Signature Long Range, Signature Standard Range, Prime Long Range, and Prime Standard Range, with an exterior color choice of Optic White Matte, Creamy White Pearl, Creamy White Pearl Two-tone, Titan Gray Metallic, Magnetic Silver Metallic Two-tone, Dragon Red Pearl, Dragon Red Pearl Two-tone, and Midnight Black Pearl.
