Suzuki Jimny Special Edition Arrives In Australia, Only 500 Units Available

JAKARTA - Suzuki officially presents Jimny XL Heritage 2024 for the Australian market. Unlike the standard version, this special edition comes with a retro display and additional equipment.

According to Drive's report, Thursday, May 16, the model took the basis of Jimny XL's five-door wheelbase. It is reported that this special edition car only sells 500 units.

Jimny XL Heritage features a different look with special stickers, red mudflapses at the front and back, and other merchandise packages to celebrate the historical heritage of this iconic model in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.

On the inside itself, this tough-designed car has a 9-inch touch screen infotainment that can connect with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB Digital Radio, Bluetooth, and rear-view camera. In addition, a number of advanced features are also presented such as rear parking sensors and cruise control.

For safety, this Suzuki Jimny gets six airbags, an autonomous emergency braking, and a lane departure alert.

In terms of performance, Jimny XL Heritage, which is sold in the land of Kangaroo, gets a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder non-turbo gasoline engine that produces 75 kW of power and a 130 Nm torque is channeled through a four-wheel drive with a manual transmission of five accelerations.

The company with the 'S' logo offers five different exterior colors, Jungle Green, Bluish Black Pearl, Granite Gray Metallic, White, and Chiffon Ivory with Blue Black Roof Pearl. The model is priced at 36,490 Australian dollars (around Rp. 389.2 million).
