The Price Of The Cloud EV Is Cheaper Than The Pre-Booking Period, This Is Wuling's Explanation

JAKARTA - Wuling Motors Indonesia has officially launched its newest electric car price, Cloud EV at a price of Rp398 million. However, this price is different from the one that was launched by the manufacturer at the 2024 Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) Periclindo event.

In an electric vehicle event at the end of April, the manufacturer from China announced the price of pre-booking at an estimated price of IDR 410 million. However, this car manufacturer has an explanation regarding this matter.

Sales & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors Indonesia, Dian Asmahani, said that the price launched at PEVS was an estimated value because his party was still carrying out internal processes for the final decision.

"When we were at PEVS, we were still estimating the price because there was an internal process that had to be discussed and considered so that it was launched with such a value," said Dian in Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, May 15.

Dian also emphasized that customers who have pre-booked at previous prices should not have to worry, because they will get the price that has now been launched.

"So don't worry consumers who have paid pre-booking does not mean pay at a price of IDR 410 million, but at the current price with the profits that have been provided," added Dian.

During the pre-booking period, Wuling gave a promo, namely life insurance on all EV components, free 7 kW charging devices, extension free maintenance, and free charging on the DC GB/T charging network from Wuling.
