Debut In February, MG Maxus 9 Wins This Award At PEVS 2024

JAKARTA - The 2024 Periclindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) is officially over, the event which lasted for six days has been successfully utilized by a number of manufacturers showing their environmentally friendly vehicle skills.

MG Motor Indonesia also takes advantage of this momentum and the Favorite Big MPV award on the Maxus 9 model. This is a good achievement after the model was introduced in February through the IIMS 2024 event.

"This award is an acknowledgment of MG's dedication which continues to innovate to present innovative vehicle lines and adjust the wishes and needs of automotive lovers for environmentally friendly vehicles in Indonesia," said Chief Operating Officer of MG Motor Indonesia Donald Rachmat, in his official statement to the media, Monday, May 6.

Maxus 9 is a premium-style electric 7-SEAter MPV that attracted attention in the global market. Not only has a wide space, this car also has quite an impressive distance.

It is stated that this model has a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery which can promise a distance of up to 540 km in a full battery state. This can be charged from 30-80 percent in just 36 minutes.

More interestingly, this MPV won the 5-star highest safety title from Euro NCAP. Thus, the car is equipped with adequate safety equipment.

It is known, MG Maxus 9 has been sold from last year globally and received a positive response from the Thai market with a price starting at 2.499 million baht or around Rp1.1 billion.
