In China, Jaecoo 7 Is Marketed With The Name Chery Tansuo 06 C-DM

JAKARTA - In the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Beijing Auto Show) 2024, Chery will launch its newest vehicle called Tansuo 06 for the Chinese market.

This car is a production version of the TJ-1 C-DM concept that was exhibited at the Shanghai Auto Show last year. In Mandarin, 'Tansuo' is defined as 'discovery and Explore'.

Reporting from CarNewsChina, Monday, April 22, the production version has a large grip resembling a waterfall. Interestingly, the SUV is decorated with unique DRL lights such as racing flags and backlight clusters that have similar patterns.

Meanwhile, this model's side profile has a hidden door handle with a floating roof, leaving a strong and modern impression on the car.

On the inside, this car with another name Jaecoo 7 in the overseas market carries a 13.2-inch infotainment screen equipped with a colorful AI assistant system developed by Chery.

The driver will be greeted with a smaller LCD instrument screen, but the head-up display is wider. This is supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chips and a warm front seat and massage technology.

Chery Tansuo 06 is one of the electrified vehicles that has a C-DM Super Hybrid Kunpeng system combined with an Acteco 1.5TGDI machine with a continuous variable super hybrid DHT transmission system.

Thus, this SUV can produce 115 kW of power and 220 Nm of torque. Details regarding the electricity component in the PHEV powertrain are still unknown. However, it is reported that this car has pure electric power capable of reaching 120 km according to CLTC and with a combined distance of 1,300 km.

However, the system has five driving modes consisting of all-electric, range extension, direct engine drives, parallel connection, and energy recovery. The manufacturer claims that Tansuo 06 has fuel efficiency of up to 4.9 l/100 km.
