Mini Will Follow Beijing Auto Show 2024, Debut For Aceman

JAKARTA - The Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Beijing Auto Show) 2024 will be a place to prove that a number of manufacturers show off their latest vehicles, one of which is Mini.

This brand from England owned by BMW will carry the theme New Era, New Cars at the exhibition which will be held from April 25 to May 4 and will be the world premiere debut for the Aceman model.

According to the official BMW Group website, Saturday, April 20, Mini Aceman will be the first all-electric vehicle ever presented by this iconic brand. Mentioned this crossover-style model is positioned between Cooper and Countryman, replacing Clubman.

Mini Aceman has a length of 4,075 mm, a width of 1,754 mm, and a height of 1,495 mm, offering a compact design without reducing relief in the cabin room.

Aceman will be powered by a 54.2 kWh capacity battery. Although the distance has not been disclosed, Mini guarantees that the crossover can offer a different comfort and versa than its rivals.

Apart from Aceman, the brand under the auspices of the BMW Group will bring the latest electric version of Cooper with trim E and SE and John Cooper Works (JCW) Countryman ALL4 at this annual event in China.

Mini Cooper SE offers 218 dk of electric motor with a 54.2 kWh battery which reaches a distance of up to 402 km according to WLTP calculations. Meanwhile, version E has a 40.7 kWh battery which has a distance of up to 305 km.

Meanwhile, the JCW Mini Countryman has a powered engine with go-kart-like driving characteristics, which characterizes the brand. Despite having similarities with its normal version, this model stands out with an upright and minimalist silhouette, emitting an adventure aura and versatility as a reliable crossover. The JCW logo is redesigned with a classic black, red, and white touch of interest.

Powered by a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine, the JCW Countryman is capable of generating up to 300 dk of power and 400 Nm of torque. This car is capable of reaching a top speed of 250 km/hour and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour in 5.4 seconds.
