JAKARTA - Recently, Mazda launched the latest CX-80 model for British consumers as well as increasing the ranks of large-dimensional SUVs such as CX-60, CX-70 and CX-90 in the North American market.

Offered with a three-line configuration, the CX-80 offers a high-quality interior, advanced driving, elegant design while confirming the commitment of the brand to enter the premium vehicle market in King Charles' country.

"All-new Mazda CX-80 is our new flagship SUV, a car that is at the top of our ranks in England, it will offer a unique combination of space, practicality, luxury, and a standout design," said Managing Director Mazda UK Jeremy Thomson, quoted from the brand's official website, Friday, April 19.

The CX-80 has a number of things familiar with the CX-60 marketed in Asia, such as the same dimensions of width and similar exterior forces. However, the model has a wheelbase of 250 mm longer and 26 mm higher than the brother.

At a glance, the SUV has a similar visual as CX-60 all over its body, but its profile has been refined, leaving an elegant impression. The side window is widened to display a straighter circle on the D pillar.

In the UK, this model will be offered in three choices of middle row configurations, namely bench seats for three people, two captain-seat walk-through rooms, and two captain-seats with the presence of a center console.

Mazda has not announced details on the interior, but will be equipped with Alexa's voice control feature that can tune music, air-conditioning, navigation, and third-party applications.

All-new Mazda CX-80 carries the same engine as a CX-60 with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) option, which comes with 2.5 liters of 4-cylinder with an electric motor measuring 129 kW and a 17.8 kWh battery and a 3.3 liter 6-cylinder option with 254 ps power diesel. All machine options are offered with all wheels driving (AWD).
