JAKARTA - The latest generation of Hyundai Santa Fe is predicted to launch in Indonesia this year, even the car was caught on camera several times while testing roads in the country.

From the monitoring of the VOI team on the social media page Instagram, the automotive influencer @indra_fathan, shared the form of Santa Fe in camouflage while testing the toll road, with the DKI Jakarta plate number.

"It turns out that Hyundai Santa Fe 2024 is secretly testing on Indonesian roads, the plates are typical of Indonesia," the tweet read.

If you look at it in more detail with models that have been launched abroad, it does appear that the front facilities are very similar, only as a whole until the rim is covered in camouflage.

Responding to the above, the VOI team tried to contact PPT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) to ask the fifth generation Santa Fe, whether to enter Indonesia in the near future.

"It wants to be like that (launch this year), depending on the results of our study," said PT HMID Chief Operating Officer Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, April 17.

He further said, not only Santa Fe, some of Hyundai's newest models are also in the study stage and are being prepared for introduction in Indonesia.

"Including some of the latest Hyundai electric cars, wait for it," he added.

The news is certainly quite interesting, considering that Hyundai also plans to present more new models in Indonesia.
