Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has finally officially taken the floor on the Southeast Asian market with the Philippines being the first country to sell the car.

Reporting from Top Gear Philippines, Friday, April 5, this high-performance crossover made its debut in the region at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) in conjunction with the Hyundai Elantra N launch.

Unlike the standard Ioniq 5, this car was specially developed by Hyundai's top performance division, N. The manufacturer also said that the model was their first step in planning electrification and they hoped to bring more EV cars developed by this division.

For range power, this car is given an 84 kWh battery package which can provide a range of up to 448 km based on WLTP calculations. With the ultra-fast charging feature, Ioniq 5 N can charge from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes.

The special features presented in the car consist of N e-shifts that have the ability to simulate dental changes, such as ICE and N Active Sound + cars, which can create high-performance gasoline roars.

Apart from being exhibited, Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) also officially sold the car with a price tag of 4.25 million pesos (around Rp1.19 billion).
