Honri Boma EV, Similar To Toyota Alphard Mini The Size Of Wuling Air EV

JAKARTA - The 2024 Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) was enlivened by a number of the latest car models, including electric vehicles (EVs). One of the EVs that attracted attention at this annual event was Honri Boma EV.

The car is made by the Hongri Automobile Group manufacturer, one of the automotive manufacturers from China. The EV has a tiny size with a cute design.

Reporting from Paultan, Tuesday, March 2, Honri Boma EV has a length of 3,517 mm, a width of 1,495 mm, a height of 1,660 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,495 mm. The car also has a ground clearance of 130 mm.

If you pay closer attention, Boma EV has a similar design as a generation of Toyota Alphard when but in a more compact form. The car has a closed grip and has a luxurious touch.

Moving to the interior, the interior is equipped with a 5-inch digital instrument cluster combined with a 10.25-inch touch screen head unit.

Although it has a very compact size as well as a kei car, Boma EV has several safety features such as Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB).

For performance, Honri Boma EV has an electric motor embedded in the front with a power of 40 dk and a torque of 84 Nm with a maximum speed of up to 100 km/hour.

This mini-sized car is offered with two Manganese Cobalt (NMC) nickel battery options, namely 11.9 kWh which provides a range of 130 km and 18.5 kWh with a distance of 200 km.

Both battery packages have AC charging capabilities that can charge up to full charging in 7 hours.

Regarding prices, Honri Boma EV will be sold in Thailand at a price of around 500,000 baht (equivalent to Rp216.8 million). Well, if the car enters the Indonesian market, this model will be the ideal competitor for Wuling Air ev or DFSK Seres E1.
