The First Electric Car From Xiaomi 'SU7' Officially Launches, Prices Starting From IDR 470 Million

JAKARTA - After being introduced at a technology launch event in early December 2023, Xiaomi finally officially launched its first SU7 electric vehicle for the Chinese market.

Quoting from the Arenaev page, Friday, March 29, this one electric sedan comes with three trim levels, starting from the base, pro, and max. So what are the full specifications?

The basic trim is equipped with a 73.6 kWh battery that produces 299 hp of power, armed with a limited battery can cover a distance of 700 km in a CLTC count. In addition, it can recharge the battery as far as 310 km in just 15 minutes, which is priced at 215,900 yuan or around Rp474 million.

In addition, the middle trim or Pro offers a 94.3 kWh battery that can cover a distance of 830 km, which is priced at 245,900 yuan or around Rp540 million.

Finally, there is the highest trim or Max is equipped with a 101 kWh battery which is able to cover a distance of up to 810 km per charge. The arrangement of the AWD dual motorcycle produces 673 hp and recharges as much as 510 km in just 15 minutes, about the price reaching 299,900 yuan (Rp 658 million).

The Chinese brand revealed that Xiaomi's advanced Pro Pilot Self-driving system will be available for all trims as standard, including Nvidia Orin chips, LiDAR systems, and 11 cameras.

Entering the cabin, the interior is made elegant thanks to the existence of the Nappa leather seat, and is equipped with 25 Dolby Atmos speakers. There are many other interesting things embedded in the interior, including two screens for the rear seat.

Meanwhile, the infotainment system offers a variety of unlimited features and integration with Xiaomi phones, but it also supports Apple CarPlay.

Delivery of this elegant design electric sedan will begin at the end of April 2024 for the base trim and Max, while the trim Pro is scheduled for late May.
