Launching At IIMS 2024, Chery Ensures Tiggo 5X Was Sent This May

JAKARTA - launching at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024 in February, Chery Tiggo 5X filled the market for the small SUV segment in Indonesia.

This car comes in two variants: Classic at a price of IDR 269 million and the highest Champion variant for IDR 299 million. Tiggo 5X will fight against competitors such as Honda WR-V, Daihatsu Rocky, and Toyota Raize.

However, the price is a pre-order value, so the official price of this vehicle has not been announced. However, the public can expect the disclosure of market prices in the near future.

Assistant President Director of PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) Zheng Shuo revealed that the official price will be announced in conjunction with the first Tiggo 5X delivery period in May.

"We plan to send Tiggo 5X to customers and at the same time release its official price around May," Zheng said during an interview at PIK 2, this weekend.

He also confirmed that the production of this SUV will be carried out in the second quarter of this year and will be launched into the market afterwards.

"The delivery of the first batch is expected to take place that month," Zheng added.

From the interior side, this car is upgraded with a 10.25-inch touch unit head display, ambient lighting, and leather wrap on the panels and seats.

Regarding specifications, Chery Tiggo 5X carries a 1,500 cc engine capable of producing a maximum power of 112 dk with a maximum torque of 138 Nm. Equipped with a steel frame and six airbags.
