JAKARTA The BinguoEV is the second electric car offering from Wuling Motors for the Indonesian automotive market which was officially launched in November 2023.

According to Wuling, Binguo itself is absorbed from two words in Mandarin, namely, bin with the meaning'many' and guo which means results'. In addition, Binguo's pronunciation is taken from the word in English, bingo which is an expression of happiness and satisfaction for the many successes achieved.

BinguoEV offers a combination of retro stylish designs, qualified specifications, and quite tough driving sensations. Available in 3 color choices: Galaxy Blue, Milk Tea, Mousse Green.

The retro design can be seen from every curve from the front and back, the front and back LED lights with futuristic X symbols give a modern and sporty impression. As for the body design, Wuling said the designers were inspired by the flowing water or running water movement.

Its tiny shape with a length of 3,950 mm, a width of 1,708 mm, and a height of 1,580 mm makes it easy to control on crowded urban roads.

Even though it's tiny, BinguoEV has a spacious and comfortable interior. His cabin is able to accommodate up to 5 people with quite relieved legs and head spaces. His synthetic skin jockey gives a premium touch and is comfortable while sitting.

In early March, the VOI team was entrusted with Wuling Motors for several days to get to know Wuling's second electric car more deeply after Air ev.

Mumpuni's Driving Sensation

Broadly speaking, the Binguo EV offers a strong and responsive driving sensation. Acceleration of this car is quite fast, the handling is also light and stable, aka easy to control. There are 4 driving modes that can be chosen, namely ECO, ECO+, Sport, and Normal.

Various other driving convenience support features are also present in BinguoEV. Drivers can make seating arrangements more easily through the Electric Seat Adjustment feature.

On the dashboard, there is a Multifunction Steering Wheel which is equipped with audio operating buttons and menu settings. The Rotary Gear Selector is also on BinguoEV as a transmission operator with a futuristic playknop. In addition, the center console of this vehicle is also equipped with an Electric Parking Brake button and Auto-Vehicle Holding. The journey is even more enjoyable thanks to an integrated entertainment system at 10.25" head unit.

Some of the vehicle features that VOI team finds during driving tests and are Auto Vehicle Holding (AVH) and Hill Hold Control (HHC) features. The AVH feature is useful for holding the vehicle in a stationary position after stopping perfectly. Meanwhile, HHC can hold the position of the car not to back when stopping and going on the uphill road.

Meanwhile, for parking is also easy, this car is equipped with a Rear Parking Camera with a dynamic trajectory so that it can make it easier to park.

However, just like the other car tests by the VOI team, the Binguo EV was tested by carrying four passengers with an average passenger weight of over 65 kg. Now this is interesting, although it doesn't really affect the car's performance when it is promoted on the road.
