Toyota has again added a line of dual cabin pickup models in the Thai market by presenting Hilux Revo GR Sport Wide Tread. It is said that this variant is equipped with a more resilient design and according to the name of course with a powerful engine than before.

Reporting from Paultan, Thursday, March 21, this car design imitates the variants sold in Australia by wearing the latest stronger bumper and front grip.

The exterior combines widebody kit elements that include overfanders in order to increase the front by 140 mm and the back to 155 mm to accommodate BF Goodrich AT 265/65 thick tires enveloping 17 inches of rims.

This pickup also gets a 37mm ground clearance upgrade accompanied by the latest monotube damping installed further than the tadder-frame chassis. Other changes include the front coil spring being retuned, front stabilizer rods, thicker front wishbones, and larger front disk brakes.

For interior, Hilux Revo GR Sport Wide Thread gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the support of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity. In addition, the list of kits is also upgraded with automated rearview mirrors, wireless charging pads, USB-C ports for rear passengers, and a new pattern for interior trims.

The car also features other standard features such as a suede/slit seat, GR Sport steering wheel, double zone temperature controller, T-Connect telematics, 360-degree camera, six speakers, keyless start, and seven airbags.

Not only tough on various terrains, but Toyota also provides it with a number of passive safety devices such as hill start assists, hill descent control, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning and prevention, and real cross traffic alert.

Talking about the runway, the pickup is equipped with a 1GD-FTV 2.8 liter 4-cylinder engine with a strong turbodiesel with 221 dk of power and a 550 Nm torque.

For the price in the land of white elephants, the Toyota Hilux Revo GR Sport Wide Tread is priced at 1,499 million baht or equivalent to Rp653.2 million.
