JAKARTA - Nissan is rumored to be ending production from GT-R R35 soon after its existence from 2007.
Reporting from Mag-X which was reported back by CarBuzz, Monday, March 11, the report said the final production would be limited to 1,500 units with 300 of them being allocated for the highest type, GT-R NISMO.
Unfortunately, it is still unknown whether the allocation slot will be offered to customers interested in the first-come-first-served system or in the form of a lottery like Toyota GR Yaris in Japan.
According to the manufacturer, the end of production from sports cars is due to the fact that many parts from GT-R are no longer produced.
Japanese manufacturers have presented a facelift version of this model and will be sold from mid-2024, with changes to the front and rear facilities as well as higher price tag than before.
The news is still speculation and it remains unclear whether the 1,500 units of the 2025 GT-R model will be sold exclusively in Japan or other regions such as North America get its own unit allocation.

Although the fate of the name GT-R is still unknown, it is reported that the manufacturer will bring this badge into the electrification model by adopting the Hyper Force style introduced at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 last October.
This car features an attractive performance thanks to an electric powertrain capable of producing up to 1,000 kW (equivalent to 1,359 dk). This is supported by the four-wheeled e-4ORCE drive technology developed by Nissan. To reduce vehicle weight, manufacturers use a well-known solid-state battery because of its lightweight weight.
Back again this is just a rumor. Nissan GT-R lovers will know the continuation of this model on March 14.
