Debut At GIIAS Last Year, GWM Officially Launches 500 Tank Prices And H6 Haval In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Great Wall Motor (GWM), a well-known automotive manufacturer from China, officially launched a special price for its two latest SUV models, namely the 500 HEV Tank and Haval H6 HEV, in the BCA Expoversary 2024 event which took place at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

Previously, these two models were also introduced at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

"We are very proud and thank you for being given the opportunity to launch these two products," said Constantinus Herlijoso, General Manager of GWM Indonesia, in his remarks to the media, Saturday, March 2.

The company also said that these two products are fully imported or Build-Up (CBU) and in the future a number of these models will be produced locally in Wanaherang, Bogor, an assembly facility owned by Inchcape-Indomobil

"Our vision is to penetrate new standards in presenting electrified vehicles in Indonesia with a sustainable spirit and new experience for modern society," added Herlijoso.

The Tank 500 model will fill in the 4x4 midder frame SUV with a hybrid engine option that other manufacturers have not yet held, while for Haval it will also enter the sport utility vehicle (SUV) segment.

For Tank 500, this model is priced at IDR 1,196 billion and Haval H6 HEV IDR 595.8 million On The Road Jakarta. This price only applies to the BCA Expoversary 2024 event from February 29 to March 3.
