JAKARTA - Vietnamese car brand VinFast officially entered the Indonesian market, at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024, which took place at JIExpo Kemayoran.

VinFast displays electric cars from the A-SUV to E-SUV segments, namely VF 5, VF e34, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9, which are emblazoned on the VinFast booth which comes with the theme 'Living Unbound'.

Unfortunately, the Vietnamese brand has not announced the price of the model displayed. However, the sellers who are at the location provide a small grid of prices.

"If the estimated price for VF 5 is around Rp250 million, if VF e34 is around Rp300 million, for VF 7 Rp525 million on the road in Jakarta, yes," said one of the unnamed sellers, Saturday, February 24.

However, he explained that the price does not include batteries, aka for car units only. Later there will be a battery rental system.

"For the price, it (the rental) ranges from Rp. 1 million," he added.
