The Zeekr 01 Luxury Sedan Will Get Updates In China, Launching This Month

JAKARTA - Zeekr, a subsidiary of premium electric vehicle (EV) Geely Holding Group for global market purposes, will launch the updated Zeekr 001 on February 27, expected to offer a lower price than the old model.

Quoting from the CnEVPost page, Thursday, February 22, this certainty was revealed by the manufacturer and the updated Zeekr 001 launch event will begin at 8 p.m Beijing Time on February 27, and gives news that the model's car is currently available at the dealer.

As is known, Zeekr 001, the company's first model to launch on April 17, 2021, and delivery began in October 2021 and has become Zeekr's main sales model. In China, Zeekr 001 is priced at 769,000 yuan equivalent to IDR 1.67 billion.

Of course, this model has not received a change for several years and now is the right time. So what are the changes that will be made? Regarding dimensions, Zeekr 001 is only 4.977 mm long, 1.999 mm wide, and 1.545 or 1.533 mm high.

In comparison, the old Zeekr 001 has a length of 4,970 mm, a width of 1,999 mm, a height of 1,560 mm. This means that there is a slight increase in dimensions for a refreshable model.

Not only that, the Zeekr 001 battery is only available in lithium ternary and lithium iron phosphate (LFP) options from CATL and Zeekr subsidiary Jidian. In addition, the new Zeekr 001 supports the LiDAR option, air suspension, LiDAR is not supported on older models.

The Zeekr update at 001 occurred as price wars intensified in the Chuja electric vehicle industry, with a number of electric vehicle makers updating their sales model this week to significantly lower prices.
