JAKARTA - In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the emergence of Golf, Volkswagen released a special edition of this series. It is known, Golf is the best-selling product owned by this German brand which has successfully sold 37 million units globally since its introduction in 1974.

Reporting from the company's official website, Saturday, February 17, the front received an update with a redesigned LED headlights featuring striking visuals. This is supported by the adoption of LED IQ.Light which has remote lighting capabilities.

In addition, for the first time Volkswagen presented a Golf model with a Grill that could turn on. Meanwhile, the 3D IQ.Light LED backlight cluster also got the latest design.

This special edition car is even more special with the placement of the 50 emblem on the pillar of B. Then, the cabin section also gets the Edit 50 logo on the trim steering wheel, stainless steel pedal cap, and black headliner.

This car also gets the latest infotainment system with Artificial Intelligent (AI) capabilities from ChatGPT. The interior carries a faster processor and a 12.9-inch diagonal touch screen in the middle with an intuitive menu structure.

The digital instrument in the car, namely Digital Cockpit Pro, is also presented standardly. The steering wheel is also redesigned by displaying a multifunction button and equipped with an IDA voice assistant that makes it easier for users to personalize on the interior.

As a new feature, ChatGPT is also connected to the IDA voice assistant for the first time. This can provide an unlimited experience for its users.

This special hatchback is equipped with a 1.5 TSI engine which has a power of up to 150 ps with six manual acceleration games. Having various advantages, the VW Golf Edition 50 is priced at up to 36,820 euros or around Rp621.2 million.
