The Price Of The BYD Seal Electric Sedan Will Be Under Hyundai Ioniq 6? This Is What The Company Says

JAKARTA - The BYD Seal electric sedan offers complete packages from design to performance offered. One of the most anticipated information is about the price.

There is something interesting when asked about the price and compared to Hyundai, namely Ioniq 6. As is known, electric cars from Hyundai are priced at more than IDR 1 billion. So is the price of BYD Seal more than that, or much cheaper?

"The hope is like that (less than Ioniq 6)," said Bobby Bharata, Head of Product BYD Motor Indonesia, when met by the media crew, during a test drive at the Sentul Circuit, Bogor, West Java, Monday, February 5.

In line with Bobby, Luther T. Panjaitan, Head of Marketing of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, said that the expectations of the BYD Seal price customers were below (Ioniq 6).

"But if you look at the market, BYD Seal should be Tesla's rival, try to see Tesla's current price. But back again, many customers hope that the price will be much cheaper, not Tesla," he explained.

BYD brought Seal to Indonesia in three variants, namely Standard Range Dynamic, Extended Range Premium and the most expensive AWD Performance. Of course, it is interesting when the price of this car has been announced at the IIMS 2023 event.

"If the lowest variant will be sold below Rp1 billion, if the highest variant can reach Rp1 billion, but we will inform the official price at the IIMS 2024 event on February 15, 2024," added Luther.

So, it is worth waiting for a breakthrough from BYD to launch the prices of all three electric cars, including BYD Seal which does offer sensations in terms of comfort to power.
