BYD Releases Exterior Image Model Yuan Up, A Charger Of Cheap Electric Cars In China

JAKARTA - Build Your Dreams (BYD) shared an official image of the exterior of the Yuan Up electric car, which is included in the Yuan series family such as Yuan Pro and Yuan Plus (Atto 3), on the weibo page.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Friday, February 2, you can see that this one model comes with the updated Dragon Face BYD design language, similar to the previously launched BYD Song L.

The front bumper looks sturdy and is embedded with the typical Yuan logo. Meanwhile, the front light is already light in a thin shape that is elongated, and equipped with a black pillar. The roof is equipped with a sunroof which makes the cabin more spacious, and equipped with a hidden door handle.

This Chinese brand also embeds five-stop rims, and comes with a single rear light unit and a roof spoiler on the back, making them look sporty and modern.

Previously, BYD shared a photo of the official Yuan UP spy covered in camouflage. This means that the launch of this one model is very ready, and is scheduled to take place in March this year.

Although the price is still secret, this one model is expected to be sold in the range of 100,000 yuan or around Rp221 million, which has the potential to become a very affordable electric car in China, and may also be offered outside of China.

BYD Yuan Up Details

BYD Yuan UP is a tiny SUV with a length dimension of 4,310 mm with a width of 1,830 mm and a height of 1,675 mm and a wheelbase of 2620 mm. This car has two optional electric motors of 70 kW and 130 kW, similar to BYD Dolphin.

The highest speed reaches 160 km/hour. Meanwhile, BYD Yuan UP has two LFP battery options from FinDreams of 32 kWh and 45.1 kWh, suitable for a range of 301-401 km.
