Mazda Launches CX-70, Offers Premium Driving With Sporty View

JAKARTA - Having been waiting for a long time, Mazda officially launched the first CX-70 which offers impressive performance through the latest electrification technology. Launched via Mazda North American Operations (MNAO), this model provides a different driving experience with intuitive handling, allowing drivers to feel involved in driving the car around urban areas.

The Japanese brand states that the CX-70 model offers the same as other models, such as an emphasis on driving, an elegant design combined with a sporty element, as well as a spacious cabin room.

"The CX-70 is designed by considering the driver, focusing on the extraordinary driving dynamics, elegant but sporty design, and focusing on a wide cabin and cargo space to encourage owners to pursue their interests and hobbies," Mazda wrote on its official website, Wednesday, January 31.

The sporty appearance in this SUV is seen in the wide and low front fasia, as well as its elegantly visible end. This brand features a dynamic look on this model with contrasted black accents across the exterior, and 21-inch rims of black metal give a dashing impression on the CX-70.

The interior is also provided with a wide and open space, offering the convenience of premium classes. Expressive and varied interior color palettes are equipped with high-quality materials and finishing, such as contrasting metallic gray inlay, all working harmoniously to create an eternal atmosphere but still sporty.

The red Nappa skin comes with aggressive red sewing details across the cabin, inspired by the 100th Anniversary Special Edition MX-5. This car has practicality that helps for daily activities, such as easily foldable rear seats, hooks for bags, and other equipment.

Mazda CX-70 is equipped with advanced features such as the Cruising & Traffic Support, known as the Unresponsive Driver Support, useful for reducing speed and stopping vehicles if they detect drivers who are not responsive. Other features include Alexa devices, which allow users to set some cabin tuning such as changing temperatures, turning on radio, to controlling hands-free smart homes.

Powered by a large platform of Mazda, the CX-70 is positioned as an electrified vehicle with an e-SkyActiv G 3.3L 6-cylinder engine with a Turbo M-Hybrid Boost as a mild-hybrid (MHEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) type, providing the best efficiency.

Unfortunately, this premium brand has not disclosed the price for the CX-60 brother. However, it is expected that this car will be available on the North American regional dealer network by the end of this year.
